The Department of Ciencias de la Computación y Tecnologías de la Información (DCCTI) of the Universidad del Bío-Bío already a member of aQNetwork, becomes a member of the “QuantumPath® Academic Community”. This agreement opens up a promising horizon for collaboration between the DCCTI and aQuantum.
The Universidad del Bío-Bío is heir to the oldest tradition of state and public higher education in the Bío-Bío Region. Its origins date back to the creation of the Universidad Técnica del Estado, UTE, on 9 April 1947. It has more than 8000 students, distributed among the Faculties of Architecture, Building and Design, Science, Business, Health and Food Science, Education and Humanities, and Engineering.
aQuantum, a company that provides tools for the development of quantum algorithms and apps, services and processes that enable the integration of hybrid quantum/classical information systems, intends to promote networking of centers and universities interested in quantum technology research. To this end aQuantum hosts and maintains QuantumPath® software.
The QuantumPath® Academic Partner Agreement provides organizations such as Universidad del Bío-Bío with access to and use of QuantumPath®, the platform for the development and life cycle of quantum algorithms and software applications. aQuantum and DCCTI will collaborate for developing Quantum Software Engineering and Programming methodologies and tools, following the principles of the Talavera Manifesto.
At aQuantum we are very excited about the start of this new collaboration with DCCTI and we are convinced that collaborating around QuantumPath® will allow us to successfully achieve our goals of applying Quantum Software Engineering and Programming to the real world.
