One more year our colleague Mario Piattini, Chief Research Officer (CRO) of aQuantum and Leader of the Alarcos Research Group, University of Castilla-La Mancha, included in the 2% of the most outstanding scientists in the world according to the ranking of Stanford University and Elsevier BV in “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators“, published 10 October 2022, DOI: 10.17632/btchxktzyw.4
As indicated in the document, the information is presented in a database of top-cited scientists that provides standardized information on citations. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields. To give you an idea of what it means to be included in these listings, the selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field. 195,605 scientists are included in the entire race database and 200,409 scientists are included in the single recent year dataset (2021).
The publication shows by separate the data from scientists for the entire race and in another list the data of the impact of a single recent year (2021).

Ph.D. Piattini on the list of a single recent year (2021):
Congratulations Mario for this well-deserved recognition of your constant, creative, hard and productive research work. We are very proud that you receive this well-deserved recognition, which is a very special stimulus to grow in our daily activity in R&D on Quantum Software Engineering and Programming.
